We love tour!!! Every year around Easter the UWE girls will group together and head off to a destination (as yet unknown for the 2008-2009 tour) for a week of carnage with other sports teams and universities. The best week of your life...

Tour 2007-2008: SalouFest, Spain

The 2007-2008 Tour was to Salou in Spain. The 28-hour coach journey was hellish, but entertainment was on hand from UWE WRFC as would be expected, particularly in the form of the 3 Ultimate Freshers™. The first 2 full days of our stay were meant to be spent playing rugby, however in true UWE WRFC style we mixed things up a little....backs became forwards, forwards became backs, and we played in fancy dress, for example hooker in fishnet tights, Number 8 in boxing gloves, etc - this being when we weren't pretending to be dead ants, geckos, or scoring tries on our own try line. We didn't make it to the second day for 7s, but still seemed to make a definite impression on the other teams there.

Themes from 07-08 included:

• 999 - best moment being when Daddy dressed up as a blue light; now if that isn't thinking outside the box...
• Grease
• Rubix Cube - dress in as many vile colours as you can find and swap with whoever you can find to come back wearing only one colour

Tour 2006-2007: DublinFest, Ireland

Sending rugby girls on a tour to the Guinness factory in Dublin was never a good plan.....total carnage.
